[A] is leading an industry movement towards content intelligence, and we are spreading the word across multiple channels.

Interested in running a high-performing content marketing program for a thought-leadership organization? Able to multitask across many skills and roles, while organizing a talented team?

[A] is looking for a driven marketing professional able to step into a leadership role to organize and manage diverse content marketing initiatives already underway, driving to meet key measures and metrics.

This is a full-time, remote role that can be done from anywhere within a few time zones of Central Standard Time. This role is for a hands-on marketing leader, and involves orchestrating, managing, facilitating, organizing, and integrating the contributions of many specialized participants.

The existing content and digital marketing team is strong, and includes:

Strategy

Authoring

SEO

Digital production

Video production

Associate production

It’s a small, but nimble and friendly team that works hard, and gets a lot done with limited resources. The content marketing strategy is strong and innovative, and needs an up-and-coming leader to take results to the next level.

[A] seeks a creative and high-energy full-time producer and leader to tie it all together, and execute marketing operations with precision and detail.

This role is for someone who loves juggling lots of moving parts, and making everything work beautifully together, like a talented chef, gardener, or symphony conductor.

The responsibilities list below is long (most likely too long for one person!), and, does represent the current activities in marketing. In your submission, let us know in which items you have strength, and with which items you’ll need learning or help.

[A] Team Benefits

Being an [A]gent comes with its benefits. Work from anywhere. Advance your career on the leading-edge of the content and technology sciences. Earn a competitive salary, and for longtime [A]gents, participation in a profit-sharing plan. But many [A]gents find the best part of working as an [A]gent are the other [A]gents you work with and the culture at [A].

We take care of each other and we honor each other's work and contributions to the team. We work to make ourselves better and our [A] team better. We make efforts to adapt new technologies and methodologies that can help us optimize our time, and we expect you to collaborate on these efforts if you’re an expert on any of those fields. We communicate and reach out to other [A] players. We love learning. We love teaching. We write. We code. We support each other. For the right people, working at [A] feels like coming home.

If this sounds like you, then write up a cover letter letting [A] know why you want to work at [A], what you do best, and what inspires you. A great cover letter will say much more than the resume (though we'd like to see that too).

Are you looking to work full-time or part-time? (If this application is associated with a full-time role, the role is full-time. However, sometimes we do have opportunity for part-time work, in addition to those roles.)*
Which best describes your location?*
What is your timeline for finding and transitioning to a new role? Please check all that apply.*
Are you able to travel? (Not all roles require travel.)*
We are a virtual company, but require our [A]gents to be available for meetings and collaboration between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm Central time. Does this work for you?*
Reading the description, why do you think you may be a good fit for this role?*
At [A] we have a deep commitment to diversity. It reflects in that [A]gents have a wide variety of ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds, physical geographies, religious affiliations, sexual orientations, gender identities, political associations, physical abilities, and all manner of ways of thinking about the world, the universe, and our role in it.

However, there's a lot of ways in which we're the same. We're all learners and teachers, all committed to growth for ourselves, each other and [A] as a whole. Many of us are introverts at some level, and we're all comfortable working from home offices. All at [A] are smart people with good hearts, and better in our diversity.

If you join us at [A], do you agree to embrace our diversity statement?*
This role utilizes a paid traction project as the final step of the interview process.

[A] utilizes such test, or traction, projects to not only assess skills, but more importantly to assess if there is a mutual cultural fit. This also gives you insight into [A] “behind the scenes” and helps you determine if [A] is the right place for you. Traction projects are also an excellent time to onboard with [A] tools, and learn key concepts that may be new, to see if the systems and the content at [A] all fits your style.

[A] customizes each test project to the individual candidate as well as to client and internal needs at [A]. The work you will be doing on the test project will produce important and valuable deliverables and contains areas that may be involved in your [A] position. As mentioned, this is a paid project meant to be completed in your "free" time.

If you progress through our process, would you be willing to participate in a traction project?*
